Nature's simple law

Do we really need a set of rules that tell us what to do (or not) in life?

Life’s rules are ‘common sense’. Each of us is born with an inbuilt intuitive sense. Through ‘education’ and ‘conditioning’ we sometimes lose touch of it but it is always there, waiting for us to tune back in again.

If we need to define the one law that holds the natural world together, then perhaps it is the simple law of ‘action and consequence’, ‘cause and effect’, what goes around comes around, or an eye for an eye.

This law is not based on whether what we do is either ‘good’ or ‘bad’, but on the inherrent nature (frequency) of the thought, emotion or action activated. No human can be a judge of this. The thought, emotion or action is its own judge.

As a result, we can all be sure that no matter what happens in life, each of us ultimately answers to this law.

There’s no taskmaster or big brother watching over us in nature, punishing us when we do bad or praising us when we do good. The only person who can do this, is ourselves. Only we can kick ourselves in the butt or pat ourselves on the shoulder. These are the benefits of full autonomy, freedom and independence.

To be considered a human being, we have to act like one.
